Our Projects
The project includes site work, excavation and backfill, complete balance tank, yard piping, concrete work, backwash piping, mechanical equipment for filter rooms, wading pool, chemical feed equipment, piping/valves/wall castings, filtration building, wood pavilions/additions, pool equipment/ladders/diving boards, fencing and gates, and stainless steel gutters.
The project includes construction of a 2.0MGD water treatment facility at the Ottawa Street site with coagulant feed system, filter aid feed system, water treatment units, chlorine feed system, finished water pumps, filter backwash system, process piping and appurtenances, below grade clearwell and CT tanks and instrumentation/controls, associated structural and architectural systems, site work, underground piping, site grading and access roads.
Construction of new Sequencing Batch Reactor Complex, Blower/Control Building, and Garage/Generator Building. Demolition and modifications to existing facilities including mechanical bar screens and influent pump replacement at Influent Building, grit collection rebuild, secondary clarifier rebuild, UV disinfection system installation, selector tank modifications, belt filter press installation, and all associated mechanical yard/process piping. New building construction consists of structural concrete, conventional masonry systems, wood trusses, doors, windows, and associated architectural finishes. Project involves heavy excavation and dewatering as well as precise scheduling coordination to keep existing facilities in operation during construction.
Construction of new influent building, Equalization Tank (including air line, pumps, piping, valves, and fittings), Aeration Tank, the entire RAS/WAS pumping system, Secondary Settling Tanks, Digester, and entire Post Aeration system.
Construction of new concrete block/brick process building, Microfiltration system, UV Disinfection system, cleaning and demolition of existing sludge drying bed, demolition and relocation of existing sludge underflow pump station, new microfiltration wet well and pump station, replacement of existing standby generator and appurtenances, new alarms and instrumentation, new equalization tank (with pumping and blower equipment), earthwork, drainage systems, roadways, and yard piping.
The project consists of the construction of two complete and operable triplex sewage pump stations and force main. The project includes construction of paved driveways, emergency generators and transfer switches, blacktop pavement replacement, modification to existing manholes and other miscellaneous items.
The Village of Briarcliff contracted Jett Industries to construct the Briarcliff Manor Pump Station, located in the Village of Tarrytown, New York, and Catskill Aqueduct Connection, located in the Town of Greenburgh. The principal features of the work to be performed for this Project include the construction of a new high-lift pump station including piping, exterior structures, yard utilities, roadways, and site work and plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
Jett Industries was awarded the contract to convert the existing 1 acre staging area into a park. The jobsite is located in the Bronx, adjacent to the Hunts Point Barreto Park. The existing jobsite used as a dump ground and grown weeds and vegetation over the years. Work consisted or clearing and grubbing of the vegetation, grading the existing surface (subgrade) to proposed levels, backfilling with select fill up to 2 feet high. Backfilling followed by placement of topsoil, hydro seeding and planting. Major quantities include 2600 cubic yards of select fill, 1,200 cubic yards of top soil.
Jett Industries, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, was awarded the contract for the refurbishment of four digester tank interiors, replacing roofing on the digester and sludge storage tanks and related mechanical work at the Hunt Point Water Pollution Control Plant for NYCDEP.
The City of Glens Falls contracted with Jett Industries, Inc. to provide Design/Build services to the City for construction of their water filtration plant. This project was the first design/build contract for a municipality in the State of New York. Jett Industries sub-consultant for engineering services was Delaware Engineering PC.
